Description
The Magpul MOE QD Bipod is built for precision rifle shooters who need a capable, lightweight support solution that mounts to M-LOK handguards without tools or separate hardware. The quick-detach connection works by inserting the M-LOK stud into any open slot on the handguard, rotating the bipod body 45 degrees until the stud seats perpendicular to the slot, then snugging the integral knob against the forend. Reversing those steps frees the bipod in seconds, which matters when moving between positions or transitioning between rifles that share the same handguard pattern.
The legs extend from 7 to 10 inches across seven indexed positions, giving you repeatable height settings for prone and bench work rather than a continuous adjustment that can drift. When folded, the legs collapse to 1.7 inches, keeping the profile tight against the handguard during carry. Non-slip rubber feet are standard, and the leg bottoms are also compatible with most Atlas-pattern feet if you want to swap in a different surface interface. The mounting stud uses a 45-degree rotation lock, which resists wobble under recoil without requiring a torque wrench or thread locker to stay in place.
Construction is polymer and steel — the polymer keeps overall weight down while steel handles the structural load at the pivot and lock points. The Flat Dark Earth finish is a matte FDE, consistent with Magpul’s MOE color family, so it pairs naturally with FDE handguards and furniture from the same line. The bipod is made in the USA.
