Description

The Magpul MOE TR Carbine Stock is built for shooters who want fast, repeatable length-of-pull changes without fumbling for tools or fighting a stiff adjustment lever. The central innovation is the ambidextrous trigger release slider — a low-profile, textured control that runs along the underside of the stock and handles two jobs at once: routine LOP adjustment during a shooting session and full installation or removal from the receiver extension when you need to swap the stock entirely. Most carbine stocks require you to compress a lever hard enough that one hand rarely suffices; the TR’s separate takedown lever on the bottom of the stock fully retracts the trigger so the stock slides on and off with minimal resistance, one-handed.

A padlock icon sits beside the takedown lever and gives you an immediate visual read on whether the stock is locked onto the buffer tube or open for removal. When locked, the takedown lever is captive — it cannot be pulled free of the receiver extension accidentally, which matters during hard use or repeated shoulder transitions. The lever itself is partially recessed into the stock body, so it stays out of the way during normal handling but remains reachable when you need it.

At eight ounces, the MOE TR is among the lightest stocks in the MOE line. The rear of the stock includes ambidextrous M-LOK slots that function as a direct footman’s loop for sling attachment or accept an optional M-LOK QD Sling Mount for push-button swivels. The anti-slip rubber butt-pad has a rollover toe profile that helps the stock find the shoulder pocket quickly. Finished in Flat Dark Earth and made in the USA, it fits Mil-Spec carbine receiver extensions.
