Description
The Magpul PC BackPacker is built around one practical idea: letting you break down a Ruger PC Carbine for compact transport and then put it back together quickly without tools or improvisation. The stock uses a dedicated locking interface that secures the barrel assembly to the stock body while the carbine is disassembled, so the two halves travel as a single, controlled unit rather than rattling around loose in a bag. That same interface guides reassembly and keeps the fit consistent every time.
The handguard is M-LOK compatible, which means you can mount lights, slings, or other accessories directly to the forend without needing a rail section running the full length and adding unnecessary weight. Where you put nothing, nothing hangs. The grip area includes a water-resistant storage compartment, and a second compartment is built into the cheek riser section — both are genuinely useful for storing small items you want on the gun rather than in a separate kit. The stock ships with two interchangeable cheek risers, one at standard height and one raised for use with optics, so your cheek weld stays consistent whether you run iron sights or a scope.
The MOE SL rubber butt-pad provides a non-slip surface at the shoulder, and the stock is compatible with the MOE SL Enhanced Rubber Butt-Pad (MAG349), which adds 3/8 inch of length of pull if the standard fit runs short for you. Optional QD sling attachment points are supported. The stock is compatible with all factory Ruger PC Carbine configurations chambered in 9mm Luger and .40 S&W, and installation is drop-in with no permanent modification to the firearm. Finished in Magpul’s Stealth Gray.
