Description
The Magpul PC Backpacker Stock is built for shooters who want to take a Ruger PC Carbine into the field without the bulk of a traditional fixed stock. The design centers on portability: a dedicated locking interface clamps the barrel assembly directly to the stock body during transport, so the carbine breaks down and stays secured as a single compact package rather than rattling around in two loose halves.
The forend is M-LOK compatible at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions, which keeps the handguard slim and light while still giving you attachment points for a light, bipod, or other accessories without adapters. The grip section and the riser area each contain a water-resistant storage compartment — useful for a cleaning kit, spare batteries, or small essentials on an extended trip where a range bag stays behind.
Cheek weld is handled by two interchangeable risers, one at standard height and one raised for use with a magnified optic, so you are not locked into a single cheek position if your setup changes. The MOE SL rubber butt-pad provides a non-slip surface and is compatible with the MOE SL Enhanced Rubber Butt-Pad for shooters who want a modest increase in length of pull. QD sling cup mounting is also accommodated for those who carry slung in the field.
The stock is drop-in compatible with all factory Ruger PC Carbine receivers chambered in 9mm Luger and .40 S&W. Ruger models that left the factory with a chassis or tubular handguard will require the original Modular Handguard Mount to be swapped out for a standard Takedown Block before the Magpul forend can be fitted. Construction is Magpul’s proprietary polymer, and the color is Olive Drab Green.
