Description

The PMAG 20 LR/SR GEN M3 is built for precision rifle platforms — SR25, M110, and compatible pattern rifles — where keeping the magazine flush with a bipod or shooting bag matters as much as round count. A 20-round body gives the shooter a lower profile under the rifle without sacrificing the reliable, double-stack feeding geometry that the longer 25-round variant shares. That geometry relies on a constant-curve internal body: rather than requiring the follower to transition angles as the stack drops, the curve keeps consistent upward pressure on each cartridge from full to last round, reducing the conditions that cause nose-dives and feed failures.

The anti-tilt, self-lubricating follower reinforces this by staying true in the body even as spring tension changes. The stainless steel spring resists corrosion over long storage without needing lubrication or treatment, which matters for magazines that spend extended time in a pouch or range bag. The flared floorplate serves two functions: it gives a positive pull point for extraction from tight double or triple pouches, and the geometry improves drop resistance when the magazine lands on its base. The floorplate is also tool-free to remove, so the shooter can strip and clean the magazine without any additional equipment.

The polymer body is designed to absorb impact and resist crushing under load, and the ribbed sidewalls combined with aggressive front and rear texture give purchase in wet or gloved conditions. A dot matrix panel on the base accepts paint pen marking, letting shooters differentiate loads or serial-number individual magazines without tape or labels that peel. Ammunition compatibility is optimized for cartridges with an overall length under 2.820 inches, covering standard 7.62×51 NATO loadings including M118LR. Made in the USA.
