Description
The Magpul PMAG 20 LR/SR Gen M3 in Medium Coyote Tan is built for SR25 and M110-pattern rifles chambered in .308 Winchester and 7.62 NATO. It fills the gap between steel surplus magazines and lighter polymer options by using an impact- and crush-resistant polymer body that handles rough handling and drops without adding the weight penalty of metal construction.
The dual-side transparent windows work alongside Magpul’s MagLevel system, which uses graduated markings to give you an at-a-glance count of remaining rounds without removing the magazine from the rifle. That’s a practical advantage during a stage or a training drill where breaking your grip to check round count costs time and attention.
Internally, constant-curve geometry keeps each round positioned along a consistent feed path from the first cartridge to the last, reducing the stack-angle variation that causes nose-dives during feeding. The anti-tilt follower is self-lubricating, which matters in dry or dusty conditions where a dry follower can drag against the body and slow the last few rounds. The corrosion-resistant stainless-steel spring maintains tension through extended storage without the set issues that can affect lesser spring materials over time.
The flared floorplate makes a stripped magazine easier to seat and re-index under stress, and it absorbs impact if you drop a loaded mag on a hard surface. A paint pen dot matrix on the body lets you mark individual magazines for inventory or rotation tracking. The magazine disassembles without tools for cleaning and inspection. Made in the USA.
