The .350 Legend headspaces differently than 5.56 and requires a dedicated magazine to feed correctly; a generic AR magazine will not reliably present the rounds at the right angle for consistent chambering.

The body is stainless steel with a black finish, which gives it corrosion resistance without the weight penalty of a steel magazine built from mild steel stock. An anti-tilt follower keeps rounds tracking straight through the feed cycle, reducing the chance of a nose-down malfunction as the magazine empties—a common failure point in straight-walled cartridge magazines that run in a platform designed around a bottlenecked round.
