Description

The Magpul Pro 700 chassis is built for precision rifle shooters who want a fully adjustable, purpose-engineered platform around a short-action Remington 700 or compatible footprint action, without having to piece together components from multiple sources. It is the kind of system that makes sense for a dedicated precision shooter, a competition shooter running prone or off a bipod, or anyone who has outgrown a conventional stock and wants repeatable adjustability built into the hardware rather than shimmed in after the fact.

The chassis is constructed from a full billet aluminum skeleton with Magpul polymer cladding over the exterior. That combination matters for a few reasons: aluminum provides the dimensional stability that consistent long-range shooting requires, while the polymer outer layer reduces heat transfer to the hands in cold conditions, dampens contact noise in field use, and keeps overall weight from climbing as high as an all-metal chassis would. The geometry is designed around complete adjustability for length of pull and comb height, so the same chassis can be properly fitted to different shooters or different shooting positions without adding aftermarket parts.

The design is fully ambidextrous. Swapping the bolt retainer plate allows the chassis to accept either a right- or left-handed action, and the cheek riser and folding hinge are both reversible, so left-handed shooters get a properly configured system rather than a mirrored compromise. M-LOK attachment points on the forend let the shooter mount accessories directly without rail adapters. The folding stock reduces the overall package length for transport and storage without requiring any tools.
