Description
The Magpul PRS Lite is a precision-oriented stock built for shooters who want meaningful adjustability on an AR-15 or AR-10 platform without carrying the full weight of Magpul’s original PRS. The “Lite” designation reflects a deliberate effort to shed mass from the PRS formula while preserving its core function: allowing a shooter to dial in length of pull and comb height independently, so the rifle fits the shooter rather than the other way around. That matters most when shooting from a supported position with magnified optics, where even small inconsistencies in cheekweld placement translate directly into inconsistent eye relief and point of impact.
Length of pull adjusts across a range that accommodates a wide spread of body types and shooting positions, and because it moves independently of the comb, changing one does not force a compromise on the other. The comb adjustment is particularly useful when transitioning between different scope heights or switching from a lower-mounted red dot to a taller riflescope. The buttplate is rubber-faced, which helps the stock stay put against a shooting bag or barricade under recoil rather than skating across it.
Construction combines polymer and metal components — a pairing that keeps weight in check while putting harder materials where wear and stress are greatest. The result is a stock that installs on any mil-spec AR-15 or AR-10 lower without modification and gives a precision shooter the kind of repeatable fit that makes position work and extended range sessions more consistent. It ships in black and is compatible with both buffer tube diameters the platform uses.
