Description

The MDT CKYE-Pod Lightweight Double Pull is built for shooters who need a capable, full-featured bipod without carrying unnecessary weight — particularly hunters covering long distances on foot and long-range competitors who move between positions. It was designed by Ckye Thomas in direct response to feedback from hunters who wanted the functionality of the standard CKYE-Pod in a lighter, more packable format.

The bipod offers height adjustment from 5 inches to 18.5 inches, handled with one hand so the shooter never has to break position or shift grip to dial in elevation. Each leg moves independently, which matters when the ground under your rifle is uneven — you can level the rifle without repositioning the entire platform. The 170 degrees of cant and full 360 degrees of pan give you the freedom to adapt to awkward terrain or track moving targets without lifting and resetting the bipod.

The double-pull designation refers to the leg deployment system, which allows the legs to be pulled to three distinct locking positions: stowed, angled forward, and straight down. This keeps the configuration repeatable rather than relying on friction or feel. Weight is managed through skeletonized construction, titanium fasteners, and a slimmer main body that omits the barricade stop found on the standard model — a deliberate trade-off that saves mass where field hunters need it most.

The mount is MDT’s RRS BTC head, which accepts both Picatinny and ARCA-compatible rails, so it transitions between chassis systems without additional adapters. The spiked claw feet are included standard and are compatible with Atlas-style foot replacements if a different surface interface is needed. Construction throughout is hard anodized aluminum.
