The MDT XRS is built for shooters who want the handling of a traditional hunting stock without giving up the adjustability and accessory compatibility of a modern precision chassis. It fits Ruger American short-action receivers and accepts AICS-pattern detachable box magazines, which opens up a wide selection of aftermarket magazine options without adapters or modifications.

The core is CNC-machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, which keeps the structure rigid enough for consistent bedding without adding unnecessary weight. High-strength polymer panels cover the exterior, providing insulation from temperature extremes that would otherwise transfer through bare metal to the shooter’s hands and affect handling in field conditions. The aluminum V-block bedding system locks the action in place repeatably, which matters for anyone chasing consistent cold-bore shots or moving a rifle between chassis.

The stock is adjustable for length of pull via spacers, and the cheek piece adjusts independently, so a shooter can dial in eye alignment for a specific scope height without compromising a comfortable pull length. That independence between the two adjustments is what separates a chassis from a basic adjustable stock. The 12-inch M-LOK forend gives enough real estate to mount a bipod, ARCA rail, or other accessories without crowding.
