The tube is formed from heat-treated carbon steel, which allows it to hold its shape under the sustained spring pressure of a loaded magazine without the creep that can develop in softer material over time. The spring itself is wound from high-tensile music wire, chosen for consistent compression characteristics across a wide range of temperatures and load cycles. Where spring fatigue shows up first in most magazines is in feeding reliability under stress; the wire selection here is aimed at keeping that window as wide as possible.

The follower is molded in high-visibility green polymer. Beyond making round count easier to read at a glance, the polymer construction resists the corrosion and galling that can cause a metal follower to drag against the tube wall, which is one of the more common sources of feed failures. The Anti-Friction coating on the exterior serves a similar purpose during insertion and removal under less-than-ideal conditions.

A few compatibility points worth knowing before ordering: standard Glock aftermarket floorplates will not fit this magazine’s basepad design, so plan accordingly if you use extended basepads. This magazine is also not compatible with the Glock 19X. It holds 15 rounds of 9mm and is made in Italy.
