The Patriot Predator is built for hunters and varmint shooters who want a capable bolt-action rifle without spending custom-shop money. It is purpose-designed for field work — lightweight enough to carry across open terrain, and accurate enough to make the most of flat-shooting cartridges at extended range.

The 1-in-14 twist rate is a deliberate choice for .22-250 Remington. That relatively fast-stepping rate stabilizes bullets in the 40- to 55-grain range that the cartridge was built around, and it lets the barrel wring out the velocity the round is known for. Shooters running heavier, longer VLD projectiles past 60 grains should verify stability with their specific load, since the twist favors lighter, faster bullets over heavyweight match slugs.

The barrel is fluted and threaded, which serves two purposes: fluting removes material to reduce weight and increase surface area for heat dissipation during sustained strings of fire, and the threaded muzzle allows the use of a muzzle device. A muzzle cap ships with the rifle to protect the threads when nothing is attached. The Picatinny rail on top of the receiver provides a stable, repeatable mounting platform for optics without requiring additional rings-to-base adapters.

The LBA — Lightning Bolt Action — trigger is user-adjustable, which matters on a hunting rifle because the right pull weight varies by gloved or bare hand, by shooter preference, and by the kind of shot being taken. The spiral-fluted bolt with its oversized handle cycles smoothly and gives a positive grip even in wet or cold conditions. Metal surfaces wear a Patriot Brown Cerakote finish, and the synthetic stock is patterned in TrueTimber Strata camo.
