Description

The Milkman is Otter Creek Labs’ answer to a persistent problem with direct blowback 9mm platforms: gas blowback. On pistol-caliber carbines, SMGs, and similar rifle-format 9mm hosts—AR9s, MP5s, Scorpions—suppressing the muzzle drives combustion gas rearward through the action and into the shooter’s face. The Milkman’s internal flow path is designed specifically to reduce that back pressure, so the gas that would otherwise vent into your eyes and lungs is managed before it reaches the ejection port. The result is a more tolerable shooting experience on platforms that are otherwise punishing to run suppressed for extended strings.

Construction is Grade 5 titanium formed through DMLS—direct metal laser sintering—a 3D printing process that allows internal geometry complex enough to redirect gas flow in ways conventional machining cannot easily replicate. That same process keeps weight down to 8.8 ounces, which matters when the suppressor lives on a host that already carries a full-length barrel and stock. The titanium also handles the sustained heat of full-auto fire without the structural concerns that come with aluminum.

The 1.375×24 HUB interface is the mounting standard, which means the Milkman accepts any HUB-pattern adapter—direct thread, 3-lug, or QD—without committing to a single host or attachment method at purchase. That flexibility makes it practical across a mixed collection of 9mm hosts rather than purpose-built for one barrel thread. If your mounts or hosts change, the suppressor travels with you.
