Description
The Otter Creek Labs Infinity is a multi-caliber rifle suppressor built for shooters who run multiple platforms and need genuine backpressure control rather than a fixed, one-size-fits-all solution. The body is constructed from DMLS 3D-printed Inconel 718, an aerospace-grade nickel superalloy that tolerates sustained heat and mechanical stress without the dimensional changes that plague lesser materials under prolonged fire. That matters because the Infinity is belt-fed capable and full-auto rated with no barrel length restrictions on magazine-fed hosts — a design envelope that demands materials able to back up the claim.
The four-chamber internal layout is oriented around keeping backpressure low, and the swappable end cap system is how that goal translates into practice. Three end caps ship with the suppressor: a solid 5.56 cap that maximizes sound reduction for lighter calibers, a solid 7.62 cap suited to larger bolt guns and subsonic 300 Blackout, and a vented 7.62 cap that dumps gas aggressively — the right choice for platforms like the MCX, SCAR, AR-10, or AK that are already sensitive to excess gas. Dialing in the wrong backpressure setting on a gas-operated rifle causes cycling problems and forces carbon back into the action; having three calibrated options out of the box means you can match the suppressor’s behavior to the host rather than tuning the host around the suppressor. A vented 5.56 cap covering edge cases is available separately.
The rear of the Infinity is threaded 1.375×24 HUB, which provides compatibility with quick-detach and direct-thread mounting systems from Dead Air, SilencerCo, Energetic Armament, YHM, Q, Griffin, and TBAC, among others. The 5/8-24 direct-thread option covers the most common 7.62 barrel thread pattern. End caps are machined from H900 17-4 stainless steel, and the exterior carries a Cerakote finish.
