Description

The Otis Ripcord Deluxe Kit is a compact, all-in-one bore cleaning solution for shooters who need a thorough clean away from a workbench — at the range, in the field, or after a hunt. It is sized for .260 Remington, .264 Winchester Magnum, and 6.5mm chamberings, so it covers the full family of popular 6.5mm cartridges in a single kit.

The core of the system is the Ripcord, a Memory-Flex cable with an integrated Monoflow bore cleaner molded directly onto it. Rather than running patches in multiple directions, you draw the Ripcord from breech to muzzle in a single pass, which is the mechanically correct direction for removing fouling without driving debris back into the action. The Deluxe kit adds a caliber-specific bore brush and cotton bore mop to that baseline, giving you abrasive scrubbing capability followed by a final swab — a more complete sequence than the Ripcord alone provides.

A T-handle is included to improve grip when pulling the cable under tension, and a short all-purpose brush locks into the T-handle notch so it doubles as a handle extension for reaching recesses in the action or bolt face. A 0.5 fl oz dropper-tip bottle of Shooter’s Choice FP-10 Lubricant Elite CLP handles cleaning, lubricating, and protecting in one fluid. A microfiber cloth rounds out the kit for wiping down exterior surfaces. Everything hang-packages together, so it can go in a range bag or vest pocket without needing a separate case.
