Otis Technology’s .40 caliber/10mm Pistol Cleaning Kit is built for the shooter who wants a complete, purpose-matched cleaning solution for their pistol without improvising with mismatched tools. Everything in the kit is sized and threaded specifically for .40 caliber and 10mm bores, so you’re not forcing oversized patches or running an undersized brush that leaves fouling behind.

The core of the kit is a solid brass rod with a swivel T-handle. Brass is softer than steel, which matters when you’re working a rod through a pistol barrel repeatedly — it won’t score the rifling or damage the crown the way a harder material can over time. The swivel handle lets the rod rotate freely as it follows the rifling’s twist, rather than binding and dragging against it. The female 8-32 threaded end accepts the included components: a bronze phosphor bore brush for scrubbing fouling from the grooves, a cotton bore mop for applying solvent or oil evenly, and a brass pierce-point jag for running patches through cleanly. A brass adapter is included to handle component transitions.

The 20 pre-cut 2.5″ x 2.5″ patches are sized to work with the jag without over-stuffing the bore. The nylon all-purpose brush handles the frame, slide rails, and other exterior surfaces where a bore brush won’t reach. A 0.5 fl. oz. bottle of Otis FP-10 Lubricant Elite CLP rounds out the kit, covering cleaning, lubrication, and protection in a single application. All metal components are precision machined in the USA.
