The core of the system is Otis’s Memory-Flex cable, which runs 30 inches of aircraft-grade flexible cable through the bore. Because cables conform to the bore rather than forcing a rigid rod through at whatever angle the cleaning position dictates, they support true Breech-to-Muzzle cleaning — the direction that keeps debris from being driven back into the chamber or action. The .223/5.56mm bronze bore brush and bore mop are both size-marked on the brush stem, a small detail that matters when you’re pulling the kit apart in low light.
