The Rose by Sig Sauer 9mm Ripcord Cleaning Kit from Otis Technology is built for shooters who want a fast, no-fuss bore cleaning solution for their 9mm pistols and compatible chamberings, including the Sig P365 and P365XL. The kit centers on the Ripcord, a flexible pull-through tool with a helix-shaped rubber core that holds its shape inside the bore rather than collapsing flat like a traditional pull-through patch. That rigid geometry keeps the cleaning surface in consistent contact with the rifling throughout the entire stroke, so fouling is being scraped and captured rather than pushed along.

The outer cleaning surface is braided Nomex, the same heat-resistant fiber used in demanding industrial and military applications. Its 700°F heat tolerance means you can run this through a barrel immediately after a range session without waiting for the steel to cool. The Nomex fibers work simultaneously as a brush to break up carbon and powder fouling and as a patch to carry it out, completing the job in a single pass from breech to muzzle. If a session leaves heavier deposits, the 8-32 threaded ends let you attach a separate bore brush to the cable without changing tools.

The kit ships with Sig Sauer Spec1 lubricant to protect metal surfaces after cleaning, a Rose microfiber gun cloth for wiping down the exterior, and a mauve bore reflector that doubles as a chamber flag and, via its 8-32 threaded end, as a pull handle for the Ripcord.
