Description

The PWS MK1 Mod 2-M stripped lower is built for shooters who want a fully ambidextrous AR-15 platform without sourcing and fitting individual parts themselves. Forged from 7075-T651 aluminum and finished with a Mil-Spec Type III Class 2 hard coat anodize, the receiver is machined to accept standard milspec AR-15 uppers and is marked “CAL. MULTI,” making it straightforward to pair with uppers in different chamberings as your build evolves.

The ambidextrous controls go beyond a simple mirrored safety. The bolt hold-open, bolt release, and magazine release are all fully ambidextrous, so left- and right-handed shooters operate the rifle identically rather than working around controls designed for one dominant hand. The Radian Talon ambidextrous safety selector handles the fire control side of that equation with a positive, repeatable detent.

The enhanced milspec trigger ships with a PTFE coating and a pull weight adjustable between 5.5 and 6.5 pounds — enough range to tune feel without leaving the predictable milspec envelope that most AR shooters already understand. The PWS enhanced carbine buffer tube pairs with a 4.5 oz H2 buffer, adding mass over a standard carbine buffer to slow the bolt carrier slightly on the return stroke, which smooths the felt impulse of faster-cycling gas systems. A ratchet-lock castle nut and endplate eliminate the need for staking and provide a built-in QD sling attachment point. Furniture is Magpul MOE SL stock and MOE K2 pistol grip. An upper tensioning screw lets you dial out any lateral play between upper and lower without relying on receiver fit alone. The lower carries a limited lifetime warranty from Primary Weapons Systems.
