Description
The PWS BDE PUB-A Mount is built for shooters running pistol caliber carbines or other fixed-barrel firearms who want a clean, reliable way to mount a pistol suppressor without the complication of a booster assembly. On a fixed-barrel host, a Nielsen device or booster is unnecessary and can actually introduce unwanted movement at the interface; the PUB-A eliminates that variable entirely by providing a rigid, direct connection designed specifically for that application.
Compatibility centers on the 1.125-28 thread pitch used by ALPHA-pattern pistol suppressors, including PWS’s own BDE 9 and BDE 45. That threading standard is what allows the mount to accept a broad range of pistol cans beyond PWS’s own lineup, so if you already own a compatible suppressor, this mount extends its useful reach to additional hosts. The muzzle-device side of the mount is designed to seat against PWS FRC compensators, the Q Cherry Bomb, and Rearden Manufacturing muzzle devices, using a tapered interface that indexes the suppressor to the bore axis the same way every time it’s installed. That repeatability matters for both point-of-impact consistency and for keeping the bore clear under the tube.
Attachment and removal require no tools, which matters in field conditions where a wrench isn’t on hand. PWS specifies a torque range of 25–35 ft-lbs maximum at the mount interface to maintain the gas-sealed connection without overstressing the threads. The mount carries PWS’s transferable lifetime warranty against manufacturing and design defects, with no proof of purchase required. Made in the USA.
