Description
The Radian RAMJET with Afterburner is built for shooters running a Sig Sauer P365XL who want to bring recoil and muzzle rise under control without giving up concealability. It is a two-component system: a replacement barrel and a dedicated micro compensator that work together rather than functioning as independent add-ons.
The RAMJET barrel is fluted and finished in Radian’s Radianite coating in a black and gray two-tone configuration. Radianite is Radian’s own proprietary finish applied over stainless steel, providing corrosion resistance and a surface hardness suited to regular carry and range use. The barrel’s muzzle end is machined with a V-shaped profile that the Afterburner locks directly onto.
The Afterburner compensator itself measures only 0.47 inches in length, which keeps the overall package short enough for most holsters designed around the P365XL’s standard dimensions. Radian uses what they call the INTRA-LOK mounting system: a tapered locking pin seats into an angled V-groove cut into the underside of the barrel. That taper lock geometry times the compensator automatically as it seats, eliminating the guesswork of indexing a traditional threaded compensator and preventing rotation under sustained fire. The angled front faces of the Afterburner are intentional — they are shaped to cam past a holster’s retention hood during draw rather than catching on it.
Together, the RAMJET barrel and Afterburner are rated to reduce felt recoil by up to 44 percent when firing 115-grain 9mm ammunition. That figure is specific to that load weight; heavier or lighter projectiles will produce different results. The system ships with no sights, so your existing P365XL irons or optic carry over without modification.
