The Radian Afterburner + Ramjet is built for Glock 19 Gen 4 shooters who want meaningful recoil reduction without adding bulk or sacrificing holster compatibility. It suits competitive shooters running fast strings and concealed carriers who need a compensator that works with a standard holster footprint rather than against it.

The system pairs the Ramjet match-grade fluted barrel with the Afterburner micro compensator. The Afterburner is only 0.47 inches long, which keeps the overall package compact enough to holster while still redirecting gas effectively at the muzzle. At that size, the angled front faces on the compensator are shaped specifically to allow smooth presentation from a holster rather than snagging on the draw stroke.

Mounting is handled by Radian’s INTRA-LOK system, which does away with a threaded interface entirely. Instead, a tapered locking pin engages a V-groove machined into the underside of the barrel, and the compensator seats against a matching V-profile at the muzzle end. That geometry times the compensator precisely and eliminates the play that a threaded connection can develop over time. Removal for cleaning is straightforward without tools.

The barrel itself is cut from 416R stainless steel and the compensator from 17-4 stainless, with a Black DLC finish across both. Together, the Afterburner and Ramjet reduce felt recoil by up to 44 percent when running 115-grain ammunition — a figure worth noting because lighter projectiles generate the gas volume the compensator needs to work efficiently.
