Description

The Radian Model 1 in 6mm ARC is built for the shooter who wants a compact, precision-oriented AR-15 that can extract genuine long-range performance from a carbine-length package. The 6mm ARC cartridge was engineered specifically for the AR-15 platform to deliver ballistic efficiency well beyond what 5.56 NATO offers at distance, with manageable recoil and a favorable sectional density that sustains velocity downrange. Radian’s implementation pairs that cartridge with a 14.5-inch barrel, a length that keeps the overall profile short without sacrificing the velocity needed to let 6mm ARC projectiles stabilize and perform as intended.

Every control on the receiver is fully ambidextrous, including the Radian Talon safety selector, which operates in both 45- and 90-degree throw positions so the shooter can configure it to personal preference rather than adapting to a fixed geometry. The Radian Raptor-SD charging handle is suppressor-optimized, meaning its gas-deflection geometry is designed to redirect port gas away from the shooter’s face when a suppressor increases back-pressure — a detail that matters if the rifle will ever run suppressed. The ATC AR Gold match-grade trigger is included as a standard fit rather than an upgrade, which affects the baseline pull consistency the shooter gets out of the box.

The upper receiver, lower receiver, and handguard are Cerakoted together as a matched set in Radian Grey, ensuring the finish is uniform rather than assembled from separately coated components. The extended aluminum handguard uses Magpul M-LOK slots for accessory attachment and integrates with the upper to create a continuous top rail surface. A 20-round magazine is included.
