The UIC MOD 2 is American Defense Manufacturing’s flagship rifle, built for duty-oriented shooters and serious recreational users who want a purpose-built AR rather than an assembled one. The platform centers on a Criterion barrel that is hand-lapped before leaving the factory, a process that removes tooling marks from the bore and removes the break-in period most production barrels require. The .223 Wylde chamber splits the difference between SAAMI .223 Remington and military 5.56 NATO dimensions, allowing the rifle to feed and headspace both cartridge types without the chamber pressure concerns that come with firing 5.56 ammunition through a .223 Remington-spec chamber.

ADM’s patented ambidextrous control system goes further than a simple mirrored selector. The bolt catch, bolt release, and magazine release are all actuable from either side of the rifle while the shooter maintains a firing grip — a meaningful distinction from implementations that require breaking grip or using a secondary thumb motion to operate. The free-float M-LOK handguard removes barrel pressure introduced by a clamped foreend, which benefits shot-to-shot consistency and opens the full rail surface for accessories without adding unnecessary weight. The Geissele G2S trigger provides a two-stage pull with a defined wall, giving the shooter a predictable break point that aids precision work without the reset concerns of a single-stage competition trigger. A Raptor ambidextrous charging handle and Magpul MOE-SL stock and MOE grip round out the control package. The rifle ships with the muzzle permanently attached to the barrel, bringing the overall barrel assembly to sixteen inches.
