Description

The Reptilia Low Profile Rail (LPR) was developed in direct response to a practical problem: conventional rail sections hold an aiming laser far enough from the handguard surface that offset from the bore axis becomes a real consideration at close distances, and the laser body itself becomes a snagging point on the side of the handguard. The LPR addresses both issues by pulling the mounted device as close to the M-LOK surface as geometry allows, reducing offset and keeping the profile tight enough that the laser is less likely to catch on gear or a barrier edge.

The body is machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a Mil-Spec Type III Hard Coat Anodize in Flat Dark Earth. That anodize is not a paint or coating sitting on the surface — it is an electrochemical conversion of the aluminum itself, which means it will not peel, chip, or add meaningful thickness to the fit. The hardware uses FNC (Nitride) treatment rather than standard plating, giving the fasteners corrosion and wear resistance that matches the durability of the body. The LPR attaches via the M-LOK standard, so it indexes directly to any M-LOK-compatible handguard slot without an intermediate adapter. At 20 grams, it adds negligible weight to the forend.
