Description
The Reptilia ROF-90 is built for shooters running a magnified primary optic who need a reliable secondary red dot for close-range work without breaking their grip or losing time. Rather than forcing a shooter to dial down magnification or shift to a separate weapon, the ROF-90 positions a Trijicon RMR at the 12 o’clock position of a compatible scope mount, letting you shift your eye to a non-magnified sight the moment a target moves inside the effective range of your magnified optic. That transition is the entire point of the design.
It functions as a drop-in upgrade for either the Reptilia AUS Mount or the Geissele Super Precision — no permanent modification, no additional hardware beyond what the mount requires. Machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum, the ROF-90 keeps weight down without compromising the rigidity that a secondary optic position demands. The MIL-STD Type III hardcoat anodized finish provides corrosion resistance and a surface that holds up to hard use without adding unnecessary bulk or visual noise to the setup.
The 35mm size corresponds to the ring diameter of the scope mount it attaches to, so verifying compatibility with your existing Reptilia AUS or Geissele Super Precision mount before purchase is straightforward. This is a purposeful accessory for a specific role — if you are running a low-power variable or fixed-magnification optic in a context where target distances vary unpredictably, the ROF-90 closes the gap that magnification creates at close range.
