Description
The Riton X1M rings are a straightforward, no-compromise mounting solution for shooters who want their 1-inch scope held firmly without adding unnecessary complexity or cost. They are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, which gives the rings enough rigidity to resist movement under recoil while keeping weight manageable — aluminum at this alloy grade machines to tight dimensional tolerances, meaning the bore of the ring is consistent and won’t introduce cant or misalignment when you torque the cap screws down.
Each ring uses four cap screws per cap rather than two, which distributes clamping force more evenly around the scope tube. That matters because uneven clamping can deform a tube over time or create pressure points that shift zero. With four screws, you can work in a cross-pattern torque sequence and get consistent pressure across the full contact surface. The medium height is designed to give adequate clearance for typical objective lenses on standard rifle profiles without raising the scope so high that cheekweld suffers.
The rings mount on Picatinny and Weaver rails, which covers the vast majority of modern rifle platforms. The black anodized finish is hard and abrasion-resistant, holding up to field handling and cleaning solvents better than paint. For hunters, range shooters, or anyone building a reliable utility rifle setup, the X1M set covers the fundamentals without over-engineering the job.
