Description
The Rugged Suppressors Fixed Mount is the adapter that anchors the Obsidian 45 suppressor directly to the host firearm’s barrel threads, eliminating the piston-and-booster assembly used in handgun configurations. On hosts where the baffle stack doesn’t need to float — fixed-barrel pistols, rifles, and pistol-caliber carbines — a fixed mount is the mechanically simpler and more rigid option. Without the spring-loaded piston in the path, there is one less moving interface to wear, loosen, or introduce misalignment over time.
This particular adapter is threaded at 1/2×36, which is the standard pitch found on most dedicated .22 LR and .17-caliber hosts, as well as a number of pistol-caliber barrels. If you’re building out a suppressed rimfire or pistol-caliber setup around an Obsidian 45, confirming your host barrel uses 1/2×36 threads is the only compatibility check required before this mount drops straight in.
Construction is steel with a matte black finish — appropriate for a part that takes repeated torque cycling and sits at the hottest point of the suppressor interface. The mount threads into the rear of the Obsidian 45 and is designed to be swapped out as needed, so a single suppressor can rotate across multiple hosts simply by switching adapters rather than running a separate can for each firearm.
