Description

The Rugged Fixed Mount is built for carbine and subgun platforms with fixed barrels — setups where the booster assembly found in pistol-configuration suppressors serves no purpose and introduces unnecessary complexity. By replacing the booster system in the Obsidian 45/9 with a solid, direct-thread interface, this mount removes the moving parts that a fixed-barrel host simply doesn’t need, resulting in a more stable and consistent connection between the suppressor and the host weapon.

The 11/16×24 thread pitch is cut to mate directly with compatible fixed-barrel hosts, and the direct-thread design means there are no springs or pistons to wear, replace, or lose during maintenance. For dedicated range carbines and subguns where the suppressor stays on the same host, that simplicity is a practical advantage over a booster that would otherwise add weight and a potential point of failure without contributing anything to function.
