Description

The Rugged Suppressors Fixed Mount is built for shooters running the Obsidian 45 or Obsidian 9 suppressor on a carbine or subgun with a fixed barrel. On a tilting-barrel pistol, the suppressor relies on a booster assembly to allow the slide to cycle properly. Fixed-barrel platforms — PCCs, submachine guns, and similar designs — don’t tilt, so the booster becomes unnecessary hardware that adds length and a potential failure point. This mount replaces it entirely, giving the suppressor a clean, rigid interface directly to the host.

The 13.5×1 LH thread pattern is a metric left-hand pitch common to several fixed-barrel subgun and carbine hosts. Before ordering, confirm your barrel’s thread spec: the “left-hand” direction means the mount tightens counter-clockwise, opposite to standard right-hand threads. Installing a wrong-pitch mount here isn’t a minor misfit — it risks damaging both the mount and the barrel threads, so verification matters. Rugged Suppressors publishes thread specifications for their other fixed-mount variants if your host uses a different pitch.

Because this is a standalone mount rather than a booster-equipped piston assembly, there are no springs or moving parts to maintain or replace. The rigid connection also means the suppressor sits in consistent alignment shot to shot, which supports repeatable point-of-impact when suppressors are removed and reinstalled.
