Description

The SureFire Fast-Attach Hub is a muzzle adapter built for shooters who run HUB-pattern suppressors on rifles equipped with SureFire SOCOM muzzle devices. Its core function is straightforward: it threads onto the back of any 1 3/8×24 direct-thread HUB suppressor and converts that suppressor to SureFire’s SOCOM quick-detach interface, letting the can swap on and off a SOCOM muzzle device the same way a native SureFire SOCOM suppressor would. That means anyone with a pinned and welded SOCOM muzzle device — where swapping out the device itself isn’t practical — can now run a HUB-compatible can without compromising the rifle’s existing setup.

The adapter is precision-machined from heat-treated stainless steel and finished in Black Nitride with a DLC coating, which keeps the surface resistant to corrosion and wear through repeated attachment cycles. The dimensions and tolerances intentionally replicate those of a SureFire SOCOM suppressor back section, so the lockup and indexing behavior at the muzzle device interface are consistent with what the system was designed around rather than a looser-fitting aftermarket approximation.

Installation onto the suppressor is a one-time operation using SureFire’s Z-72636 Spanner Tool. Once mounted, the suppressor attaches to and releases from a SOCOM muzzle device without tools — slide it over the muzzle device, index on the built-in slot, and secure the lock ring. The 1 3/8×24 thread standard is shared by suppressors from several manufacturers, so the adapter is useful not only for SureFire HUB cans but for any compatible can using that thread pitch. It is not a suppressor itself and ships like any standard firearm accessory.
