Description

The Mustang 22 is built specifically for .22 LR rimfire use — pistols, rifles, and everything in between that threads at 1/2″-28. It is a suppressor aimed at shooters who want meaningful sound reduction without committing to a single fixed length for every situation.

The core of what separates the Mustang 22 from a conventional fixed-tube design is the ADAPT module system. The tube separates into two usable configurations: a longer standard setup and a shorter one, achieved by removing the forward module rather than buying a second suppressor. The shorter configuration trades some sound attenuation for a noticeably reduced overall length and weight, which matters when the suppressor is mounted on a compact pistol or a youth-sized rifle where balance is affected. Neither configuration requires additional paperwork — it is one unit that physically reconfigures.

Material choices here reflect a deliberate balance between durability and mass. The mount and direct-thread adapter are Grade 5 Titanium, which resists the heat cycling that rimfire carbon buildup accelerates while keeping weight at the point most likely to affect muzzle-heavy handling. The tube and baffles are 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum, a material hard enough for sustained use but light enough that the standard configuration comes in at 3.3 oz and the short configuration at 2.4 oz. The serial number is engraved on the titanium mount rather than the aluminum tube, meaning the serialized component is the one most resistant to wear and damage over time.

The Flat Dark Earth High Temp Cerakote finish is applied over both metals and is formulated to hold up under the elevated temperatures that repeated firing generates at the muzzle end. The removable front cap gives access to the baffle stack for cleaning, which matters with rimfire ammunition given the waxy fouling it deposits.
