Description

The R3 Flash Mitigation System is built for shooters who run a 7.62 host and want a capable standalone muzzle device that also integrates directly with compatible Rugged Suppressors — specifically the Radian 762, Surge 762, Razor 762, and Micro 30. That dual-purpose design matters in practice: the device handles flash reduction on its own, and when a suppressor enters the picture, the R3 transitions into the mount rather than becoming a removed part sitting in a bag somewhere.

Flash reduction comes from variable fluted prongs, which vent propellant gas in a pattern that disperses the visible signature at the muzzle. The prong geometry is toothless, meaning there are no sharp forward-facing edges that catch on gear or barrier material during movement — a meaningful consideration for anyone shooting from awkward positions or moving through cover.

Retention uses a dual taper locking system rather than a traditional crush washer or shim stack. Tapered mating surfaces self-index under torque, which keeps the device clocked consistently without the guesswork of timing a standard washer. The M15x1 metric thread pattern is cut to match the SCAR 17 and other platforms using that pitch natively, so no adapter is required on compatible hosts.
