The Razor 762 is built for shooters who want a compact, full-capability centerfire suppressor that doesn’t impose barrel-length restrictions or rate-of-fire limits. It handles cartridges up to .300 RUM and is Belt Fed Rated, meaning Rugged Suppressors engineered it to sustain heat and mechanical stress at sustained high cyclic rates — not just casual semi-automatic use. That matters for anyone running the can on a gas-operated platform where heat buildup is a real variable, not a theoretical one.

The tube is machined from 17-4 PH stainless steel bar stock and then heat treated, which gives the material a hardness profile that resists both erosive gas flow and the abrasion that comes with high round counts. The baffles are Cobalt 6 and are welded around their full circumference rather than threaded or pressed in, so baffle-to-tube integrity holds even under thermal cycling. Every Razor 762 is accuracy-tested before it ships, with the goal of confirming repeatable return to zero after the suppressor is removed and reinstalled.

Mounting is handled by Rugged’s Dual Taper Lock system, which solves two problems at once. The forward taper creates a gas seal and indexes the can concentrically on the muzzle device, which is what makes zero repeatability achievable. The rear taper provides a friction lock that prevents the suppressor from walking loose under recoil. A Go/No-Go gauge ships with the unit so you can confirm correct engagement before firing rather than guessing. The included 5/8″-24 flash hider gives you a ready mount for standard 7.62 muzzle threads, and the system is also designed to reduce gas blowback into the action on semi-auto and full-auto hosts.
