Description

The SilencerCo Velos LBP is built for shooters who run short-barreled or full-auto platforms hard and need a suppressor that can keep pace. Low back-pressure design is the central engineering goal here: by reducing the volume of gas that cycles back into the host firearm, the Velos LBP cuts the fouling, heat, and felt impulse that conventional suppressors push back through the action — a meaningful advantage on any gas-operated rifle, and especially so on shorter barrels where port pressure is already elevated.

The internal structure starts with a 3D-printed Inconel 625 core, a nickel-chromium alloy chosen for its resistance to heat and oxidation under sustained fire. That core is fully welded to 17-4 stainless steel front and rear modules, which provides structural integrity rather than relying on threaded or press-fit joints that can loosen under thermal cycling. SilencerCo’s patented Hoplon Blast Baffle sits at the bore entry and deflects the initial gas pulse and debris away from the baffle stack, extending service life when the suppressor is run on high-cyclic-rate firearms or carbines with short barrels where the blast is most aggressive.

The exterior finish is V-Series Cerakote, a formulation rated for the elevated surface temperatures produced by sustained automatic fire. The suppressor ships ready to mount via the Charlie ASR system and includes an Internal Charlie Flash Hider Front Cap — a front cap with an integrated flash hider geometry that reduces visible signature without changing the suppressor’s external profile. The included ASR muzzle brake for 5/8×24 hosts gets the mount interface right from the box. SilencerCo backs the Velos LBP with a lifetime warranty.
