Description
The Sig Sauer P365X Komodo Anime is built around the premise that a compact carry pistol can be both purpose-built and visually distinct without compromising function. This is a carry-oriented striker-fired pistol finished by Shark Coast Tactical in a custom black Cerakote — a durable, corrosion-resistant coating applied over the entire assembly — rather than a standard blued or parkerized finish. The Komodo variant uses an aluminum grip module rather than the polymer frame found on standard P365X configurations, which changes the feel in the hand noticeably: aluminum runs stiffer and transfers less flex under recoil, and it tends to sit denser in the grip.
The barrel is a Zaffiri threadless compensated design. Unlike a traditional threaded compensator that adds length ahead of the muzzle, the threadless comp integrates into the barrel profile itself, redirecting propellant gases upward to reduce muzzle rise without requiring a separate attachment or adding meaningful forward bulk. That matters on a pistol this size, where keeping the overall envelope compact is the point. The result is that follow-up shots can be reacquired faster than they would be from an unported barrel of equivalent length.
Night sights come installed from the factory, and the slide is cut for direct optic mounting, so the pistol is usable out of the box without a light-dependent sight picture while still accepting a red dot if the shooter prefers. Two 17-round magazines ship with each pistol, giving the Komodo genuine capacity for a platform in this footprint.
