Description
The Seekins Precision HAVAK Element M3 is built for the hunter or backcountry shooter who needs a serious long-range capable rifle without carrying extra weight over difficult terrain. The action combines an aluminum and steel hybrid receiver with a three-lug bolt and 60-degree throw — a geometry that lets you cycle the bolt quickly without breaking your cheek weld, which matters in a field-shooting situation where a follow-up on game is time-sensitive.
The barrel is a carbon fiber-wrapped 416R stainless steel unit. The wrapping keeps mass low while the stainless core maintains the dimensional stability and corrosion resistance that stainless is chosen for in precision barrels. At 20 inches, this configuration preserves the velocity that .308 Winchester needs to stay effective at extended distances while remaining a practical length to carry and maneuver. The 1-in-11.25-inch twist rate is calibrated for the mid- to heavier-weight projectiles that most .308 hunting loads use — shooters planning to run very light bullets for varmint work should check whether those specific loads stabilize at this rate before committing.
Seekins’s patent-pending Quick-Change Barrel Collar allows the barrel to be swapped without a gunsmith, which extends the practical lifespan of the platform across caliber changes or barrel replacements. The PH3 carbon composite stock includes an adjustable cheekpiece so the shooter can dial in a consistent sight picture across different optic heights. Full-length M-LOK lets you mount accessories without adding a rail section. The 20 MOA Picatinny rail with integrated bubble level gives a zero-base head start when dialing for long-range holds, and the adjustable TriggerTech trigger allows the break weight to be set to the individual shooter’s preference. A Hunter muzzle brake and a three-round carbon fiber magazine are included.
