Description
The HAVAK Element M3 is Seekins Precision’s answer to a specific problem: a bolt-action hunting rifle that can be carried hard all day without the shooter wishing it weighed less by mid-afternoon. The platform is built around weight reduction as a primary design goal, not an afterthought, which makes it a practical choice for backcountry hunters, mountain hunters, and anyone covering serious ground on foot before a shot presents itself.
The 20-inch barrel is where some meaningful trade-offs live. Compared to a 24-inch tube, it gives up a modest amount of muzzle velocity in exchange for a rifle that handles more naturally in tight terrain and balances closer to the shooter’s body. In 6mm Creedmoor, that velocity loss is rarely decisive at the distances where this caliber earns its keep, since the cartridge’s efficient case design and high-BC bullet selection already deliver a flat trajectory. The 1-in-8-inch twist rate is fast enough to stabilize the heavier, longer 6mm projectiles — bullets in the 103- to 115-grain range that carry the most aerodynamic advantage — so handloaders and handload-adjacent shooters can run the cartridge at its ceiling rather than compromising bullet weight to suit a slower twist.
The included carbon fiber magazine keeps mass out of the rifle where it would otherwise accumulate without contributing to accuracy. A three-round capacity is a deliberate choice for a hunting application rather than a range rifle: it keeps the action geometry simple and the package slim. The M3 designation within the HAVAK Element line reflects specific stock and chassis geometry decisions Seekins made for this configuration, and the fit and finish naming follows their own conventions rather than generic color descriptions.
