Description
The HAVAK Pro Hunter 3 is built for hunters who want a backcountry rifle that can handle tough field conditions without sacrificing long-range precision. It is a purpose-built bolt gun, not a target rifle with hunting features bolted on, and the design decisions reflect that priority from the receiver back to the stock.
The 3-lug bolt runs a 60-degree throw, which means less hand travel between shots than a traditional 90-degree design — a real advantage when your position is cramped against a tree or a rockface and a follow-up look through the scope matters. Toolless bolt disassembly lets you pull the bolt apart for cleaning or reconfiguration in the field without digging for a kit. The quick-change barrel system extends that same logic: swapping calibers is a genuine option rather than a gunsmith appointment.
The 1-in-8 inch twist rate is well matched to the heavier, high-BC projectiles that make 6.5 PRC worth chambering in the first place. Bullets in the 140–147 grain range stabilize reliably at that rate, and those are exactly the loads that take advantage of what the cartridge does at distance. The 20-inch barrel keeps overall length manageable for timber and rugged terrain where a 24-inch tube becomes a liability, and the fluted, threaded profile strips weight while leaving the muzzle open for additional options.
An integrated 20 MOA Picatinny rail is machined into the steel receiver, giving a built-in elevation advantage for dialing long-range corrections without burning through scope adjustment range. The Woodland Shadow synthetic stock includes an adjustable cheek riser so the sight line can be fitted to the shooter rather than the other way around, and the full-length M-LOK rail keeps attachment options open without adding bulk. One three-round carbon fiber magazine is included.
