Description
The Element Hunter is built for mountain hunting — the kind of country where a rifle gets slung, dragged through brush, soaked, and expected to perform when it finally matters. Seekins designed it around the demands of backcountry pursuits in technically challenging terrain, and every major decision on the platform reflects that context rather than a range or tactical application.
The barreled action is the Element M3, paired with a carbon fiber wrapped stainless steel barrel. The carbon wrap keeps weight down without sacrificing the stiffness that stainless contributes to consistency across temperature swings — relevant when a morning hunt starts cold and extends into afternoon heat. The barrel is threaded at 5/8×24, which allows a muzzle device to be fitted and swapped without special tooling. The 1-in-11.25″ twist rate is well suited to the range of hunting projectiles commonly loaded in .308, favoring mid-weight bullets without over-stabilizing lighter ones.
The Quick Change Barrel Collar lets you swap barrels and shift calibers without a gunsmith, which extends the platform’s usefulness across different seasons or species without committing to a second rifle. The three-lug bolt is toollessly removable, simplifying field cleaning after a hard day in wet or dusty conditions.
The Woodland Shadow Carbon chassis borrows the silhouette of a traditional hunting stock — slim, snag-free, and shoulder-friendly when moving through cover — while adding a folding stock for compact carry and an adjustable cheek piece so the same rifle can be fitted to different shooters or different optics heights. A full-length M-LOK rail runs the fore end, and an integrated 20 MOA rail with built-in level is machined into the action, giving you a head start on long-range holds without an additional riser. The package includes a 3-round carbon fiber magazine.
