Description
The Havak Element M3 is Seekins Precision’s answer to a specific kind of shooter: someone who wants a genuinely lightweight chassis rifle for backcountry hunting without giving up the rigidity and rail real estate that precision work demands. It is built around the Seekins Mini Chassis, which integrates a full-length M-LOK interface and a 20 MOA Picatinny rail with an embedded level directly into the chassis body. That rail cant matters because 277 Fury generates relatively high chamber pressure and produces a flatter trajectory at distance than most cartridges in its class, which means shooters are routinely dialing significant elevation correction — a pre-canted rail delays the point at which you run out of scope travel.
The 20-inch barrel keeps overall length manageable in the field while preserving enough velocity for 277 Fury to perform as designed. A 1-in-8 twist stabilizes the heavier, higher-BC projectiles the cartridge is optimized around, so ammunition selection should favor bullets in the 140-grain range and up rather than lighter loads intended for faster-twist alternatives. The barrel is threaded 5/8×24, making it straightforward to mount a suppressor or muzzle brake without adapters. The Urban Shadow Carbon stock contributes to the rifle’s 6-pound weight, which is meaningful when you factor in optics, a loaded magazine, and a day’s worth of elevation gain. The included three-round carbon fiber magazine keeps the profile trim, and the 3+1 capacity is consistent with most bolt-action hunting configurations. The Armorer Black Anodize finish is durable without drawing attention in the field.
