Description
The HAVAK Element M3 is built for hunters and backcountry shooters who need a rifle light enough to carry deep into the mountains without giving up the rigidity required to shoot accurately under field conditions. The foundation is an aluminum and steel hybrid action — aluminum keeps the overall weight down where it matters most, while the steel components at the bearing surfaces maintain the dimensional stability that a long-action magnum cartridge demands under repeated firing.
The action uses a three-lug bolt with a 60-degree throw. Compared to a traditional two-lug design, the additional lug reduces the rotation angle needed to cycle the action, which translates directly to faster follow-up shots in the field without requiring the shooter to break cheek weld as far. The patent-pending Quick-Change Barrel Collar is part of that same design philosophy: a shooter can reconfigure the rifle for different cartridges without returning it to a gunsmith, which extends the practical life of the platform considerably.
The barrel is 416R stainless steel wrapped in carbon fiber. The carbon fiber layer stiffens the barrel against harmonic flex while shedding weight compared to a full-profile contour in steel — a meaningful trade-off when every ounce matters on a multi-day pack hunt. The 1-in-10-inch twist rate is well suited to the heavier, high-BC projectiles that .300 Winchester Magnum shooters typically select for long-range work on big game. The Seekins PH3 carbon composite stock includes an adjustable cheekpiece and full-length M-LOK, and the 20 MOA Picatinny rail with integrated bubble level gives the shooter a head start for dialing in a long-range optic. The TriggerTech trigger is user-adjustable. A Hunter muzzle brake ships with the rifle.
