Seekins constructed the action from an aluminum and steel hybrid, keeping weight down while retaining the rigidity that accurate shooting demands. The three-lug bolt with a 60-degree throw cycles quickly and positions the bolt handle low enough to clear most scope eyepieces without an extended handle.

The patent-pending Quick-Change Barrel Collar is the design detail that sets this platform apart from conventional bolt rifles. It lets the barrel be swapped in the field with minimal tooling, so a single action can serve different cartridges across seasons rather than requiring a second complete rifle. The 416R stainless steel barrel is carbon-fiber wrapped, which cuts weight relative to a contour-matched all-steel tube while also damping barrel harmonics as the rifle heats up during a hunt.

A 1-in-8 inch twist rate in 6mm Creedmoor is well matched to heavier, high-BC projectiles in the 103–108 grain range that the cartridge is most often loaded with for precision work — shooters running lighter varmint bullets in the 70–80 grain class should confirm stability at their intended velocity before committing to a load. The 20-inch barrel represents a deliberate trade-off: it gives up a modest amount of muzzle velocity compared to a 24-inch tube, but the reduction in overall length is meaningful when the rifle is being packed into a blind or lashed to a pack frame. The barrel is threaded 5/8×24 and the rifle ships with a hunter muzzle brake installed.
