The Havak Element M3 is Seekins Precision’s answer to a specific problem in backcountry hunting: how do you build a rifle stiff enough to shoot accurately under pressure without making it a burden to carry? The solution is a hybrid action machined from aluminum and steel, which sheds weight where structural demands are lower while retaining steel where the bolt and barrel interface require it. The patent-pending Quick-Change Barrel Collar is a direct consequence of that design philosophy — it lets you reconfigure the rifle for a different chambering without returning it to a gunsmith, which matters if you run multiple calibers across different seasons.

The bolt uses a three-lug design with a 60-degree throw. Compared to a traditional two-lug bolt, the shorter rotation arc means less hand travel between shots, which translates to faster follow-up cycling without breaking a consistent cheek weld. The 1-in-8 inch twist rate is well-suited to the heavier, high-BC projectiles that make 7mm Remington Magnum effective at distance — if your handloads or factory ammunition favor lighter bullets in the 140-grain range, the same twist handles those without issue, but this rifle is oriented toward the long-range end of what the cartridge can do.

The barrel itself is 416R stainless steel wrapped in carbon fiber, a construction that damps harmonic vibration differently than a bare contour barrel and keeps the rifle’s balance point closer to the receiver as the barrel heats. The PH3 carbon composite stock includes a full-length M-LOK forend and an adjustable cheekpiece, so eye relief can be dialed to the shooter rather than the other way around. A 20 MOA Picatinny rail with an integrated bubble level ships with the rifle, along with a Hunter muzzle brake and a single three-round carbon fiber magazine.
