Description
The HAVAK Element M3 is built for hunters and backcountry shooters who need a precision bolt gun light enough to carry hard miles but capable enough to anchor game at distance. It is not a range rifle dressed up for the field — the design priorities are weight reduction, reliable function under rough conditions, and fast follow-up shots, and every major system reflects that.
The action pairs an aluminum frame with steel bearing surfaces, keeping mass low without sacrificing the structural integrity where it matters most. Seekins’ patent-pending Quick-Change Barrel Collar means the barrel can be swapped without a gunsmith, which matters to hunters who run multiple calibers across seasons. The three-lug bolt closes in 60 degrees rather than the conventional 90, so the shooter can cycle the action without breaking cheek weld — a genuine advantage when time is short and the animal is still standing. The bolt is also tool-free removable, which simplifies cleaning in the field.
The 7mm Backcountry cartridge sits in a long-action receiver with an extended cartridge overall length allowance, giving handloaders room to seat heavy, high-BC projectiles out to where the rifling can best engage them. The 1-in-8-inch twist rate is matched to stabilize the heavier 7mm bullets that make the most of this cartridge’s velocity and downrange performance. The barrel itself is 416R stainless steel with a carbon fiber wrap — the wrap sheds weight while the stainless core holds tolerance across temperature swings. Threading is present for a muzzle device, and a Hunter muzzle brake ships with the rifle.
The Seekins PH3 carbon composite stock includes an adjustable cheekpiece so the comb height can be set to match a scope without shimming, and full-length M-LOK rail runs along the forend for accessories. A 20 MOA Picatinny rail with an integrated bubble level is machined into the receiver, giving the shooter a pre-built elevation advantage for long-range zero and a visual reference for cant. The trigger is a TriggerTech unit adjustable between 2.5 and 5 pounds. The magazine is a 3-round carbon fiber detachable box.
