The Havak PH3 is Seekins Precision’s answer to a rifle that moves between the truck and a steep mountain approach without asking the hunter to compromise on precision. It is built around a quick-change barrel system, which means the same action and stock can be reconfigured for a different chambering without a gunsmith — a practical consideration for hunters who cover varied country in a single season.

The 1-in-10 twist rate in this .300 Winchester Magnum barrel is matched to the heavier, longer projectiles the cartridge is typically loaded with for elk and moose — bullets in the 180 to 220 grain range stabilize reliably at that spin rate, whereas a faster twist would be unnecessary and a slower one would leave heavier bullets marginal at extended range. The 22-inch barrel allows the .300 Win Mag’s slower-burning powder charge to reach a more complete burn before the bullet exits, recovering velocity that a shorter hunting barrel would surrender.

The three-lug bolt with a 60-degree throw keeps the bolt handle’s arc short enough to cycle quickly without lifting your cheek off the stock, and tool-less disassembly means field cleaning or a barrel swap does not require carrying a wrench. The integrated 20 MOA Picatinny rail builds forward slope directly into the optic mount, preserving windage and elevation adjustment range when running high-magnification glass at long distances. The full-length M-LOK rail and adjustable cheek piece let you fit the rifle to your optic height rather than fitting your face to the rifle.
