Description
The Havak Pro Hunter 3 is built for hunters and precision shooters who want a capable bolt gun they can move with in the field — compact enough to carry through rough country, accurate enough to stretch distances without compromise. The 20-inch barrel is the key trade-off here: you give up a modest amount of muzzle velocity compared to a 24-inch tube, but you get a rifle that balances better in a pack frame, shoulders faster in tight terrain, and still delivers the flat trajectory that makes 6mm Creedmoor worth carrying in the first place.
That 1-in-8-inch twist rate was chosen to stabilize the heavier, high-BC projectiles that make 6mm Creedmoor competitive at distance — think 103- to 115-grain bullets. Lighter target loads will still shoot, but the rifle is clearly optimized for the upper end of the caliber’s bullet weight range. The barrel is threaded, so the muzzle is ready for a suppressor or brake without additional machining. Black Cerakote over a fluted profile keeps weight down while providing corrosion resistance for extended field use.
Seekins built the PH3 around what they call a mini chassis system, housing the action in a Woodland Shadow Carbon Comp synthetic stock with an adjustable cheek riser — useful when running different optic heights or switching between prone and field positions. The integrated 20 MOA Picatinny rail gives you a head start on long-range zero without burning through your scope’s internal adjustment. The three-lug bolt with a 60-degree throw cycles quickly and keeps scope clearance generous. A TriggerTech trigger handles the break, and the barrel system is designed for tool-free removal to simplify cleaning or future caliber changes. A single three-round carbon fiber magazine is included.
