The Havak PH3 is Seekins Precision’s answer to a mountain hunting rifle that doesn’t force a compromise between field portability and long-range capability. It’s built around a quick-change barrel system and a three-lug bolt with a 60-degree throw, which keeps bolt cycling fast and the scope clearance generous — useful when you’re wearing gloves or working from an awkward position. The bolt also strips apart without tools, so swapping to a different caliber barrel or cleaning after a wet day in the field doesn’t require a bench setup.

The 1-in-8-inch twist rate is well-suited to the heavier, high-BC projectiles that 7mm Remington Magnum handloaders and factory-ammunition buyers increasingly favor for extended-range work. Lighter cup-and-core bullets will stabilize fine, but the twist is optimized for the longer, sleeker profiles that retain velocity at distance. The 26-inch barrel recovers more of the powder’s energy before the bullet exits, which matters with a belted magnum case burning a larger charge — you get measurably higher muzzle velocity compared to what a 24-inch tube would yield with the same load.

The threaded, fluted barrel pairs with a steel receiver that carries an integrated 20 MOA Picatinny rail, pre-angling your scope mount to give back the elevation travel that long-range shooting eats up. The stock’s adjustable cheek riser lets you fit the rifle’s eyeline to whatever optic height your rings require. The Urban Shadow finish runs across the synthetic stock.
