Description
Seekins Precision built these 34mm rings for shooters running modern, larger-diameter scope tubes on AR-platform rifles where getting the right height is as important as getting the right fit. The 1.45-inch AR High profile is specific to that platform’s geometry — the raised front sight base and wider upper receiver profile mean a standard-height ring will often set the scope too low for a consistent cheek weld, and this height is sized to clear that hardware while keeping the optical axis as close to bore as practical without sacrificing cheek contact.
The rings are machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, which offers a favorable strength-to-weight ratio for a part that needs to absorb repeated recoil impulse and maintain zero across temperature swings and hard use. The four-cap-screw design distributes clamping force more evenly around the scope tube than a two-screw configuration, which reduces the risk of deforming the tube and helps the scope return to zero after removal. The mount attaches to a Picatinny rail, giving positive cross-slot indexing so the rings reline on the same position each time they go back on the rifle. The matte black finish matches the standard anodized look common on AR uppers and handguards without drawing attention on the line.
For a shooter building a precision or designated-marksman-style AR around a 34mm main-tube optic, these rings address the platform-specific geometry problem without adding unnecessary bulk or requiring a riser underneath. The Seekins AR High is a considered solution to a real height-above-bore problem, not a universal mount adapted to fit.
